First chimpanzee fossils were recently discovered in an area previously considered appropriate for chimpanzees. Fossils of human ancestors were discovered in the vicinity. Although scientists have discovered a few teeth of chimpanzee years, the discovery could lead to wake up in the theories of human evolution. “Now we know, if you go in West and Central Africa, humans and chimps live in similar environments and neighbors,” said Nina Jablonski, an anthropologist at the Academy of Sciences of California. “This is the first evidence in the fossil record, they coexist in the same place in the past.”
He had previously been thought that chimps never lived in the Rift Valley-arid, they prefer a richer environment, like the jungles of Congo and West Africa. For years, scientists believe that early human ancestors left the jungle and move caused a split between the lines of evolution of man and chimpanzee. But now, with the discovery of ancient chimps and humans in the same area, evolutionists May need to rethink what caused humans to become human.
